Dr. Mark Eilers
is a board eligible orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. Dr. Eilers graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia with a bachelor of science in biology. He then attended Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he obtained a master of science in pharmacology.
Dr. Eilers earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, after which he completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Southern Illinois University. He then went on to TRIA Orthopedics in Minneapolis, MN, where he completed a sports medicine fellowship. While there, he provided team physician coverage for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball, NHL’s Minnesota Wild, University of Minnesota Division 1 Hockey, Gustavus Adolphus Division 3 Football, Minnesota Magicians NAHL Hockey, and Washburn High School Athletics.
Dr. Eilers areas of focus include:
- Cartilage injuries to the knee
- Tendon and complex ligamentous injuries to the knee, ankle, elbow, and shoulder
- Multiple ligament knee injuries
- Anterior and posterior cruciate ligament tears in children and adults
- Meniscus injuries in children and adults
- Rotator cuff tears
- Biceps tendon injuries
- Osteoarthritis of the knee and shoulder

- Minimally invasive shoulder and knee surgery
- Ligament reconstruction (ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL)
- Total and partial knee replacement
- Total shoulder replacement
Dr. Eilers is NAVIO certified for computer-assisted partial knee replacement. He has surgical privileges at Medical Center Hospital, Texas Surgical Center, and Odessa Regional Medical Center.
